 "FOOLOLOGY"
Our 2 1/2 hour improv workshop. Ideal for high school and college students that want to get "hands-on" experience with improv. Techniques of the "Yes And" principal and agreement are taught and applied to classic skits and games like the ones seen on televison shows like "Whose Line is it Anyway?". This is a fun and interactive workshop that gives a person a chance to try improv and decide weather or not to continue with classes.
"DRAMAPROV"
We teach classes for all ages and backgrounds. Utilizing improvisational acting techniques of "Yes And..", team building skills and listening skills, Improv Unlimited teaches a "hands-on" approach to acting that embraces creativity, risk taking, and team work. Ideal especially for building an actor's or enthusiast's confidence and self esteem.
"ESTEAM ASSEMBLIES"
Finally, a workshop assembly program that is funny, entertaining, provocative and relevant to everyone! Our ESTEAM BUILDING (ESsential TEAM BUILDING for Self Esteem) program is ideal for K-12. The show is adaptable to the age and needs of the audience. Using Improvisation the actors perform 15 minutes of hilarious scenes from audiences suggestions. Then to illustrate how the actors developed their skills they use members of the audience in a mini performance where skills of agreement, team work and goal setting are demonstrated and achieved by the volunteers. The assembly hits home on several levels because it teaches that anyone can say “no” or be disagreeable, but it takes a unique person to always say “yes” and work toward positive outcomes.
